Due to his experience in psychiatry, conflict management and human resources Dr Tim Ojo decided to start his own consultancy firm in Brighton, named Eko Consulting. From the logo to a website everything needs to be created to establish the professional image companies look for. DMDC were brought in to help Eko Consulting grow their online presence.
Dr Ojo wanted the logo to inspire different values such as creativity, clarity, authenticity and integrity. A big font helps highlighting the term Eko which is the traditional name of Lagos city in Nigeria. The two letters O and C overlap each other to represent a pair of scrutiny eyes. The red square was added to bring a sense of innovation and transparency to the overall design. And here we are! In the twinkling of an eye Eko Consulting inspires confidence and reassures businesses they can help finding the right solutions.
The various tone of red and greys were chosen to suit the corporate world. The website was developed with managers and business owners in mind. The white font brings a contrast and helps the copy pop out which makes it easier to read. Eko Consulting main goal is to help companies find the solutions to their problems. DMDC helps enhancing this statement through the precision of their designs.
Eko Consulting website goes straight to the point. The homepage main attraction is a carousel made of different images showing off their business values. A short paragraph is available on the left hand side to find out in just a few seconds what Eko Consulting are about. The list of services available is included in the menu as well as underneath the carousel through clickable images. The Contact Us page can be accessed from any other page throughout the site to maximise its potential.
In this specific case the use of social media is essential to communicate effectively with their target audience. It is well-known that an increasing number of companies own a Twitter account. This social network has become a great platform to contact potential clients in B2B. Being visible on Twitter is more than a necessity for Eko Consulting. In the meantime the Facebook page allows sharing relevant information whilst referring visitors to the website.
Within the first week Dr Ojo called the team at DMDC to share the good news. Just a few days after launching their rebrand, new visitors to the website were turned into new customers! This is the start of a great online adventure for Eko Consulting.
